About Us

We strive to empower car enthusiasts to build, repair, and customize electric vehicles with confidence.

We're passionate about electric vehicles and custom EVs of all kinds. By empowering car enthusiasts to build fun, efficient, and better-performing vehicles, we help keep innovation and creativity within reach, ensuring custom car culture not only survives, but thrives in the EV era!

How it started

We’re a small business based in West Los Angeles, originally born from a group of friends helping each other with e-bikes and small personal electric vehicles (PEVs). When the pandemic hit and demand for electric mobility surged, we found ourselves assisting friends, family, and fellow enthusiasts in converting, upgrading, and maintaining their electric rides. Helping others discover, enjoy, and ultimately contribute to this exciting mode of transportation created a positive feedback loop, and with it, an early manifestation of Westside EV.

How it’s going

Today, we operate from multiple home shops and support all types of EVs, from e-bikes, scooters, and mopeds to cars, trucks, farming equipment, and more. If it has wheels and an electric motor, we want to help! We offer street-tested, DIY-friendly parts, solutions, and support to remove friction from EV builds.

Future

We’re excited about expanding our operations to serve the EV community better. Our vision includes a dedicated shop on the west side of Los Angeles, equipped with a lift and a few bays for hands-on services and support. We'd love to hear from you if you know of a space that suits our needs.
