Ready-to-Run Tesla Drive Units
Our custom-built, ready-to-run drive units are tailored to your specifications and backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
We begin by sourcing low-mileage drive units in excellent condition—or even brand-new Tesla Drive Units upon request. From there, we install a controller of your choice and any additional upgrades you need.
To support a variety of applications, we offer limited-slip differentials (LSD), upgraded hybrid-ceramic bearings, and reverse drive modifications.
All Tesla Large Drive Units come with a coolant bypass mod, eliminating concerns about the dreaded coolant leak!

Model S/X LDU Coolant Delete
Also known as a coolant bypass, this mod dramatically improves the reliability and lifespan of early Tesla Large Drive Units by eliminating the problematic factory rotor seal, which is an inherent weak point with a near 100% failure rate that eventually leads to coolant leaks and motor destruction.
If your Model S or X is out of warranty and you're looking to extend the life of your drive unit, drop off your vehicle, and we’ll install an aftermarket coolant delete/bypass manifold.
If you’re hearing noise or having more severe symptoms of a coolant leak, we can also perform a full drive unit rebuild. Full rebuilds include a 1-year limited warranty.
