These 2-pin DTM connectors feature an embedded 120 ohm resistor for terminating CANBUS networks. Splice in a DTM04-2P receptacle near the physical end of a CANBUS network and pug one of these into it to terminate the bus. Then, if you ever need to extend or tap into the network for logging, remove the resistor plug and plug in a new node or CANBUS adapter.
