Tesla Rear SDU DIY Reverse Drive Oil Pump Kit

This kit includes all the parts needed to modify a Tesla Rear Small Drive Unit oil pump for reverse drive operation.
Includes:
Bolt-in replacement oil pickup canister
Modified "piston return" spring
Set screws
The pickup canister is 3D-printed from PETG, which is very strong, chemically inert, and will not degrade submerged in transmission fluid over time.
Oil pickup installation procedure:
Separate the OEM pickup canister from the splash shield via four T10 Torx screws
Transfer the screen cartridge over to the new part
Install the new pickup canister back onto the splash shield via the four T10 Torx screws
Shorten the longer 1/2” hose as needed. Use the leftover to make a short hose piece to connect the pump output nozzle to the pickup passthrough tube.
