We start with a low-mileage LDU in excellent condition and perform a light rebuild, including a power wash, new axle seals, new ATF, and replacement of any bearings showing signs of wear. We then install any additional options selected, set up, and test-spin the motor with your chosen aftermarket controller to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We offer aftermarket controllers and VCUs from Dynam Labs, EV Controls, AEM, and Openinverter. We can also leave the Tesla OEM inverter board in place for Tesla vehicle applications.

In addition to our flexible controller options, we offer limited-slip differential (LSD) and PFI FERSA hybrid ceramic bearing upgrades to maximize performance and durability.

All Ready-to-Run drive units from Westside EV are backed by a 1-year/20,000-mile limited warranty. When customers choose PFI FERSA hybrid ceramic bearings, we perform a full rebuild, and the warranty is extended to 2 years/60,000 miles.
